The schedule of workouts will be shared via email to registered participants. However, if you do not feel you are ready for your goal pace group, try going in a group that matches your current fitness level. HOW: Once a week we will meet at the track, divide into small groups, each with an encouraging Timer to guide you through a workout.
We just ask that, in return, you give Big River the opportunity to help you with your running and walking shoes and gear this summer. Whatever you would like to run at the end of the summer as your goal is the group you should run with.
It's all about fun and positive motivation, no matter your pace or speedwork experience.

XC Course Rating The higher the number the more difficult the course statistically. One way we service our customers is through our robust Community programs. Like many classic field day games, the eight Core Games of Field Gay require two Teams compete or play.
Teams will rotate through all of the Core Games using a schedule. Teams (which should consist of no fewer than five and no more than eight Players) must pick the Players best suited to compete in the game at hand. We will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at p.
This Training Team season we are offering the option to participate in a structured weekly speed workout with the guidance of a coach. You will want to run with the correct group for your 5k goal time. As always this program is FREE!

While many people training for a half or full marathon focus on long runs and the endurance aspect of training, speed and pace work play a very important role and should not be overlooked!
WHY: Speedwork has been proven to lower times for all distance races from the mile to the marathon. WHAT: Track workouts designed to increase speed with the goal of peaking at the 5k distance at the end of the summer. The cool thing is you can always move up or graduate to the next group as you get faster!
